ABOUT BLOODY TIME!!! NEW UPGRADED SITE

Right, so this post will generally be me making excuses on why I haven’t done a post until now, in a vein attempt to fill some space on a blog that I have been absolutely shithouse at maintaining.

I’ll be very surprised if anyone actually reads it, and if you are then well done to you for getting past the first paragraph and having enough time on your hands to be bothered getting this far.

I just decided that if you got this far then I will give you a prize so make a comment or contact me and say “I read up to the first prize point now give me some loot” and I’ll get you something. It will probably be one of our T-shirts or a pair of jeans from Elwood, or maybe I’ll hit up EMI (that’s my day job) and get you some download cards. It’ll be something for nothing other than having enough time to read this so it’s up to you.

So my excuses are as follows
1. I’m not much of a writer so this takes a bit of effort, and I tend to waffle on.
2. I didn’t really understand how to do it. Make a post that is.
3. I’m pretty bloody busy in my normal job at EMI
4. It costs money and I spend most of it doing the Aussie BBQ shows.
5. I am genuinely pretty shit at asking questions so although I know a shit load of talented people I always think I’m bothering them so I tend to try and do things myself even when I have no idea. (thanks Shaan for helping me with this)
6. I like going out and doing other things like seeing gigs.
7. This is my lucky number along with a trillion our people.
8. A very lucky number to the Chinese.
9. I’m no longer making excuses.

So there’s my excuses. If you got this far I am amazed because that was a shit load of useless information, although a bit of an insight into the way I think.

Look long story short this is the new site and I’m going to get some writers from all over the world to contribute to it, and they’ll keep you informed on what’s happening with Australian music from anywhere in the world.

I’ll now insert some video footage and picture above all this text to make it look cool and an eye catching and then start on another post.
